Online Giving

ONLINE GIVING OPTIONS
There are several ways to give to support Legacy Church. We receive tithes and offerings during our Worship Experience as well as online through credit card or bank transfer. All giving is tax-deductible, and we will send you your year-end contribution statement in January.
Text-to-give by texting the amount to 84321. (The first time you give by text will require a simple set-up process through Planning Center. And make sure we have your phone number on file with your profile, otherwise it won't work.)
Give securely online through Planning Center with a one-time or recurring gift.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT'S THE MOST CONVENIENT WAY TO GIVE?

Recurring giving via ACH is the most convenient way to give. It just takes a few minutes to set up, and your giving will automatically be sent to Legacy Church on the recurring schedule you set.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TITHES & OFFERINGS?

The tithe is 10% of our income, that in Malachi 3:8-10, God instructs us to bring back to Him. Offerings are contributions that are given over and above the tithe – from a generous and faithful heart responding to God (2 Corinthians 9:11, 1 Timothy 6:17–19).

CAN I DESIGNATE MY GIVING TO SOMETHING SPECIFIC?

Tithes are most often undesignated, meaning that we use the funds for the normal operation of our church. However, your offering (beyond the tithe) can be designated for the following purposes:

  • Local Missions
  • Global Missions
  • Building Fund
HOW CAN I MINIMIZE THE PROCESSING FEES TO THE CHURCH FOR MY GIVING?

We are always looking for better ways to steward people’s giving, and we encourage givers to use ACH/bank transfer rather than credit cards. Credit/debit processing is 2.3% + $0.30/donation, while ACH/bank transfer is only
$0.25/donation. We researched and found this was the best offer for our community at this time.

“This most generous God who gives seed to the farmer that becomes bread for your meals is more than extravagant with you. He gives you something you can then give away, which grows into full-formed lives, robust in God, wealthy in every way, so that you can be generous in every way, producing with us great praise to God.”
2 Corinthians 9:6–11, The Message
