Legacy Church Updates on covid-19

April 1, 2020

As we find ourselves in the midst of this unprecedented season, I want to encourage you to trust that Jesus is with us. I don’t know what the future holds, but I know who holds the future. I believe that there is a future for the church that will be greater than ever. A great awakening is taking place, and many are returning to their faith in Jesus. Prodigals are coming home, and the apathetic have pushed towards the Word of God again.

Though we are unable to meet in person as a church, every day we have the opportunity to intentionally connect with each other via phone calls, text messages, and video calls. In light of this pandemic and our community, I’ve decided that we will continue to have church at home throughout the month of April. This is a challenging season, and it’s tough to imagine not being together for Good Friday and Easter Sunday, but know that resurrection power is released not only in the church but in our homes.

Let me be clear, Legacy Church is not closed, we are activated. People are being ministered to everyday via prayer chains, grocery deliveries, and Bible studies online. Stay alert and aware of different ways we can help our community during this time. We are looking for ways we can help. Please email us if you hear of ways our church could serve our community during this time.

Be sure to stay connected with us on social media, YouTube, our newsletter and our website. I am posting daily devotionals, messages, and praying with people via live-stream. Stay plugged in, connected to what God is doing during this season. We are doing this together! Remember you are the salt of the earth, the light of the world, and you are making a difference in this world. Now go and share Jesus with ALL generations!
