DAY 04

pursue victory

18 The Israelites went up to Bethel and inquired of God. They said, “Who of us is to go up first to fight against the Benjamites?” The Lord replied, “Judah shall go first.”
Judges 20:18

Worship is one of the main spiritual weapons that God has given you. After Joshua’s death, the people asked the Lord, “Now, who will lead us? And the Lord said, “Send Judah first.” Judah literally means praise. When you praise God the enemy’s strongholds are broken, and victory is declared. You must become a person of unapologetic praise! Never be ashamed of your worship! Praise your way to victory.

Praise and worship are very important in the life of a Christian. It provides a place to express your unity in Christ. It nurtures your receptivity to the Spirit of Christ and prepares your heart for what God wants to speak to you. Worship and praise increase your faith to believe for more new things from God. It provides an atmosphere where the gifts can be released in your life and gives you a greater awareness of what God wants to do in the world. Remember, God inhabits the praises of His people. Let this year be a year of freedom in worship for you!

Pray this prayer today:

Lord, make me a worshipper. Help me to set aside time every day to just worship you, declare your goodness and victory. I want to soak in your presence. Amen.

John 4:23-24
23“But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. 24“God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
